Choosing the best Realtor is really dependent upon your own personal preferences. Do you prefer a Realtor who seeks creative housing solutions to meet your needs or one who strictly adheres to your preferences for housing? e.g. You tell the Realtor you are interested in a traditional home with three bedrooms and a large yard for your dog. He finds a 3 bedroom, two-story colonial, with a small yard that is just down the street from a great dog park. Do you want to know about that one? Before selecting a Realtor, you should choose two or three and meet with them after describing your housing needs. Their initial presentation of homes will give you a pretty good idea of their work ethic and whether they are working to find you the best solution or just hunting an easy payday. Don't overlook chemistry - it will affect communication between the parties. Ask if they have a good relationship with a mortgage lender. A reputable Realtor could save you thousands of dollars in unnecessary points and help streamline the process; they'll also do a better job of managing the lender's activities to close in a timely manner. Take your time to research the area yourself. Choosing the right Realtor will greatly enhance your experience and leave you feeling that your decision was a wise one. I'm a former Realtor from Florida who moved to Raleigh in 2006. I had chosen a local top producer who then assigned me to one of their 'team members' when I arrived to start shopping. I was terribly disappointed with their representative's laid-back, reactive style. I ended up firing them and found my own home. Good luck! Louis

Best Realtor in my opinion is one who is focused on providing excellent service. In my opinion, those who work by referral, are held accountable not only by their clients but by those who refer them. If you would like to work with a Realtor who's built their business by referrals, go to http://www.ReferredPro.com and I'll refer you to a great one in Raleigh.

Hey! I just did some research, and here is a website on the legal things you need to get married. check out this website: http://usmarriagelaws.com/search/united_states/north_carolina/ Read the whole thing - it tells you many important facts (such as the fact that when you go to sign the papers, you have to have a witness, so plan on bringing your best man and your maid of honor), etc. Good luck! :) Once again, http://usmarriagelaws.com/search/united_states/north_carolina/

About flying alone for first time and I have a connection? How do they work

Flying alone for first time and I have a connection? How do they work?
In July I'm going to visit my relatives in North Carolina. I will be flying from Buffalo to Raleigh, but all the flights from Buffalo to Raleigh have a connection. I'm 16 and it will be my first time flying alone so I'm sort of nervous about it especially the connection. My parents are going to book either U.S. Airways with a connection in Charlotte or Southwest with a connection in Baltimore. I don't understand how connections work though. When I get to the connection city, do I stay on the plane while some get off and new passengers get on, or do I get off and go to another plane? If I go to another plane, do I have to pick up my bags from the baggage claim or do they take it straight to the other plane?

You'll switch planes. When you exit, you'll already be in the right area -- you won't have to go through security again, or anything. You will just have to head to your gate number and weight. Usually you have way more time than you need -- it should only take ten to fifteen minutes. You might want to take that time to grab some food at the airports, they'll be located in that same area. Your luggage will be taken care of for you; you won't have to deal with that.
2 :
When you start your trip, your baggage will be ticketed through to your final destination. In your case, you will have just one connecting flight. If the connecting flight is on a different airlines, when you get off the first airplane, you will proceed to the terminal gate for the ongoing flight. Your best bet is to show your ticket to one of the flight attendants on the first plane, they are all very familiar with the airport layouts and will be happy to assist you.
3 :
You'll want to listen closely when they make the announcement of the plane's destination. Usually, a connection means you change planes, but if they say "continuing on to Raleigh" that means you stay on the plane. If you have to change, you'll have a separate boarding pass; just look for the arrival/departure board in the terminal and go to the gate that matches your flight number.

Little secret .In the airlines in flight magazine located in the seat pocket in front of you there is always a gate diagram for the airports that they fly into. So on approach they will tell you what gate you will be arriving at and what gate your connecting flight will be leaving from. Look it up on the map and figure out where you gotta go. Some airports like O'Hare & Dallas Fort Worth can be a real challenge to make a connection in under 30 minutes. Usually what happens is that you make the connection but your luggage doesn't When your folks book the flight ask them to leave an hour for connection times. If you're checking baggage make sure it that the proper airline codes are on you claim checks Southwest will look llike this BWI -RDU US Air will look like this CLT -RDU Have fun
5 :
okay its pretty simple, when you make a connection you have to get off the plane, find the other plane thats going to take you raleigh. dont worry about your luggage cause that goes directly to the plane you are going to board... so basically your just looking for the plane thats going to take you to raleigh. theres nothing to it. Make sure your getting on the correct flight... if you cant find the flight to raleigh look at the information screens near the gates and you will see all the departures on the screen and it will tell you where to go.

Connecting flights generally work as follows: a) you have to disembark at the connecting point and go to the plane that will bring you to the final destination. b) your luggage can be checked through, so you do not have to take it from one plane to another - just pick it up at your final destination. As for the airports: take the connection via Charlotte. It's probably one of the most user friendly airports in the U.S.A. and is probably much easier to navigate than any other. And one thing: airline people are generally helpful. Don't be afraid to ask if you need something or don't understand something.

I am looking for a 2 bedroom apt or townhoume in Raleigh,NC, but my credit is poor, can someone help?
I am trying to move this month, personal reasons. I have been turned down twice from rental agencies already. I do plan to work on my credit, but I need to move 1st. I prefer north Raleigh area. I have 3 children, no pets. If anyone knows a place that I could rent, apt, townhome, or a single family home, my payment range is 650 to 750 a month, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry, I don't have a place for you to rent, but I want to suggest you work directly with the landlords rather than the Rental Agencies. Rental Agencies are paid to rent to the best tenant. If you have bad credit, they probably wouldn't even bother the landlord to make the call. Good Luck!

IF it is not illegal to smoke in the office in your state, there is not much you can do other than writing a letter to the home office. Assuming there is one. Good luck
2 :
I would look into the family/medical leave act. Then I would try to hire an attorney for discrimination. I hope that you can find another job-but try an attorney, maybe he can help you. Good luck.
3 :
u can sue for unsafe wroking enviroment because u should not put up with that .second hand smoke kills and bad 4 health and, dont be all careing , tell them to take it outside. I think there a law that said u cant somke inside.

NC is a pro tobacco state I doubt if you going to find any help NC has had $Billiions in taxpayer handouts to grow tobacco If the Company was Federal/State/Parish dept you might be able to squak
6 :
I have to assume that you are now either drawing unemployment benefits or looking for another job or perhaps both. In the future, during the job interview, be sure to ask what the company policy is in regards to smoking. If the company you are interviewing for allows smoking, simply look elsewhere for employment. If they do not it will probably be a plus for you when they are looking to hire.
7 :
You would have to be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that their cigarette smoking around you alone is what has caused you to fall ill which would be almost impossible. I would say to make sure to find a smoke free workplace from now on. As hard as it makes it for others, everyone has rights and the right to smoke cigarettes in a place the law does not forbid them is one of them. As far as legal action i couldn't possibly see anything happening there mainly because since they weren't breaking any state laws by it, you would actually be the one responsible by not removing your self from the situation.
