About What type of volunteer work could an American do (preferably sponsored work) in the UK

What type of volunteer work could an American do (preferably sponsored work) in the UK?
I'm graduating from college next year and I am looking at programs such as Teach for America, Peace Corps, World Teach and Fulbright english teaching assistantships. I looked into Raleigh International, but would prefer to not have to pay.

Do any of those programs even work in the UK? I know Peace Corps does not. The country isn't exactly the developing world and most developmental organizations aim for those. Perhaps you could contact some universities in the country and ask them. They might have some good ideas.
2 :
There are NO sponsored volunteering activities in the UK for Americans. The UK has plenty of its OWN local volunteers! PeaceCorps does not place volunteers in the UK. They place them in *developing countries*. Here's details on all your options for volunteering abroad: Volunteer Abroad http://www.coyotecommunications.com/volunteer/international.html

About what is a Good Resturant to

What is a Good Resturant to ?
What is a good restaurant to work at in Raleigh NC? Where can I make the most money? I have thought about Bahama Breeze, Carrabas, or Bonefish. Any help would be appreciated!

Go for Carrabas. They are somewhat fancy yet not too pricey. Thus leaving more money for a tip at the end of the meal.
2 :
Carrabas would probably be your best best. They have higher ticket prices and are always busy. Typically a higher class comes in their as well that will tend to tip heavier. I am a former employee of Carrabas and averaged about $100 through the week and $150-200 on the weekends.
3 :
All those are chain restaurants. You won't make that much money there. I'd try some of the independent, locally-owned fine dining places in and around downtown. That's where the real money is.
4 :
Carrabas. But also depends on what the demographics are of the area where the restaurant is.
5 :
Go to www.TakeOutFood2U.com and check out the waiter ad.

Take a bus or find a carpool with someone who lives near you. I know that a lot of work groups have car pool vans. Also called "Park and Rides". That or you could hitch hike, but I recommend you don't do that because there are a lot of creeps out there.

I wanna work in a small office like in a suburban town or in some part of Raleigh.

They might have them around Raleigh. usually in the outskirts of the city limit though. You can try Apex, Cary, Fuquay-Varina, or Morrisville for small office places to work in. They have office jobs in there too. Downtown Raleigh is mostly big office buildings and the office parks usually have midrise office buildings with lots of employees. But those suburban towns have the old buildings on the ground floor and in the old Mayberry part of the town.

Looking at the area, there are many video game companies that I would like to intern for, such as Insomniac or Epic Games. I don't know which colleges in the area are best for studying to work in the field of game design, though. Any advice?
